Dyed with oxalis flowers and E.crenulata leaves
Fingering weight/3 ply
90 grams of pure wool-   sheep breed, Finn

Dyed using oxalis flowers
Sport -medium weight/5-8 ply yarn
80 grams pure wool – Corriedale Sheep

Dyed using Cotinus leaves, more commonly known at “The Smoke Bush”
Medium weight/8 ply yarn
50 grams pure wool – Mixed Breed sheep

    These are so lovely. I love the complex shades in the first image especially. I just mapped out projects for my existing stash of yarn, which should keep me (more than) busy for this season. …But I was looking at yarn for dyeing the other day, and thinking this might be one of my projects for the upcoming spring and fall.

      Thank you, I love the shades in the first one too. The difference being that I dyed already spun skeins in the first image and the yellow one was dyed fleece and then spun, hence the more even colour. It doesn’t always happen that way.
